Killed Romance

We've come to a flatland, a land of factories
I think they've killed Romance, the dream is over buddies
They've given up kissing the Muses, they've given up being romantic
Just started to suck Muse, got it all in one click
The best jokes are always the shortest, it seems this lasts for years
If art is the barometer of soul, the sky is dripping tears
Where's the stake, where's fantasy, the odour of the letter?
Do you know who created that? Maybe he died for it
This is not about silliness, or either about picking blue flowers
But Eros & Thanatos & their relationship's ambiguous
The Raven is my fellow, he knows what I mean
As behind his austere cassock floods the light
Look around you idiots, Ages are gazing upon you
Do agree with the stones, you'll see the novel of your head's often true
Please listen to my story, tell me yours one last time
I can't admit this screen is our tombstone

Dawn Visitors

On the roof the day wakes up but it's too late to sleep
The hive is here at our feet, slave to the gold & our sudden freedom
I've been waiting for the Sun & you to return, patient as granite
Without nostalgy & excited by green firewater
Good intuition, cause you crossed the bridge made of air that's my invitation
And if one day you're jailed in your room, I'll come rescue you like a fatherly ocean wave
They told us to stay in the warmth but we didn't
Cause you know an advise is bullshit half the time
The beginning, this is the beginning, this is the beginning,
This is the beginning of an epic
Neverending, this is neverending, this is neverending
This is neverending, enjoy the trip
Today's a celebration, cause we're all equal in death
And since we have time to taste it, let's jump off our chairs, these sad animals
Anyway with this dog, impossible to get lost in the fog
And this immense eagle brings us to destination (even when we're fucked up)
Neverending, this is neverending, this is neverending,
This is neverending, enjoy the trip
On the roof the day wakes up, but it's too late to sleep
The hive is here at our feet, slave to the gold & our sudden freedom
To relight our bodies there are songs to eat
And paradoxically, little deaths to share

She Knows Secrets

I've ridden across the desert of lamias, singing for nobody
Always thirsty, looking for great thrill & glory
Making bulls bleed, throwing arrows to the future
Wondering bout a floating cube or an endless ladder
I've come to a huge rusted wall & beyond a secret gateway
To virgin meadows then glittering towers, here's her stay
For her I got mist on my fingertips, something that looms
Black clouds, green frogs, green smog & bitter mushrooms
She knows secrets, she too can find hidden doors
She knows about magic, labyrinths & rollercoasters
She's used to stare at the world from her balcony
And we made it there, in front of what we call reality
Cause more than that gogo dancer on the table
This gorgeous ballerina makes me spit on the bible
And more than that street fighting drummer
This wild fruit of the tall city gives me danger
But I like it so when she shuns I follow
On the stairway to water & further below
Away from the bank's boring isolation
For non-marriage & non-perpetuation
She knows secrets, she too can find hidden doors
She knows about magic, labyrinths & rollercoasters
She's used to stare at the world from her balcony
And we made it there, in front of what we call reality

Angelus

Sing a lay for loves away
For all the things that we've lost
Lost in the waves of time & space
Bells ring their names through old Normandy
Sing a song for friends gone
For those who sleep underground
Make a banquet, light candles & stars
In the court of the Sagittarius
Sing along a sailor song
When we ever try to reach home
Maybe this old house, few stones on a sea of grass
In the language of William Blake
